How do I remove a message?

On the website
  1. Login to your account
  2. Click on "My Account" from the menu in the top right where you name is
  3. Click on "Messages Sent"
  4. Find the message you would like to remove and click remove
On the app
  1. Click on the "MESSAGES I'VE SENT" button on the home screen
  2. Find the message you would like to remove
  3. Click the "Remove" button on the message

How do I send a message?

On the website
  1. Login to your account
  2. Search for a number plate
  3. Type the message and click "send message"
On the app
  1. Open the App and login
  2. Search for a number plate
  3. Type the message and click "send message"

How do I edit a message?

You can't currently edit a message but you can remove a message and then re-send it. Please bear in mind that the user will have a copy of your first message in their notifications until you removed it.

How do I delete my account?

You cannot delete your account from the website as yet but you can send a message to the registration plate "REGAPP" requesting for your account to be deleted and we will do this for you.

If I delete my account can I re-open it?

You can re-open your account within 6 months of deleting it, but after this time you will need to sign-up for a new account as your data will be removed from our system.

What if someone has claimed my number plate?

If you suspect someone of claiming your number plate, please fill in a contact form here with the details of the plate. We will then get in contact with both parties and resolve the situation by checking for proof.

What if I sell my car?

When you sell your car, you just have to remove the number plate from your account and then add your new number plate.

How do I remove my number plate?

On the website:
  1. Login to the site
  2. Click on "My Registrations" which is found in the top right menu where your name is
  3. You can then delete a registration by clicking the red bin at the end of the row

How do I mark my plate for sale?

  1. Login to the site
  2. Click on "My Registrations" which is found in the top right menu where your name is
  3. Click the pencil icon to edit the registration
  4. You can then click the slider to put it up for sale

How can I stop people seeing my last seen location?

On the website:
  1. Login to the site
  2. Click on "My Account" which is found in the top right menu where your name is
  3. You can then change the slider to hide your location

What other information can RegApp deduce from my number plate?

Currently we only collect the following information against your number plate:

  • Make
  • Model
  • Colour
  • MOT’ed Yes or No (this is so we can check you are a real car on the road)

How do I block someone?

We are sorry that you wish to block somebody. Please contact us here, and tell us the registration plate and your reason for blocking the user.
